Marley Ashem Meditation
Founder and Meditation Guide
Welcome
I'm Marley, a yoga teacher based in Toronto focused on guiding students through meditation.
My mind is always racing, the only time i truly feel at peace is when i meditate and the time at follows, thats how i know the practice is special. I fell in love with the practice and its ability to calm my mind and ground my life.
In todays busy world, it can be difficult to find mental clarity, and i want to help. I feel gratitude that I can guide you through meditation so you, too, can find a moment of stillness, clarity, and peace.

I first started to meditate in college as a gym course. After the first class, I felt something new. I didn’t know I could experience such clarity, peace, and calmness.
From there, I grew my practice in yoga, working my way up to complete my 200-hour training, meditation training, community work, and my personal practice.
I am very much still a student, excited for knowledge. There is an abundance of lessons to learn, and I am so happy my journey will be lifelong.

Mindfulness meditation is for all levels. The goal isn’t to “transcend.” To be honest, most people never have that experience while meditating, and for me, that’s not the goal.
We are here to move through breathwork, mindfulness prompts, and most importantly, I am here to hold space for you.
Reminding you that your wellbeing is worthy, deserving, and expansive.
-
Meditation is a practice that thrives in community. Sitting with others in meditation, holding space for each other.
Learning how to calm the mind and body is a meta skill — a skill that will transform all of your other skills. Because nothing evolves or functions alone.
Through meditation, I have watched my life transform. Most recently, manifesting a loving partnership I never could’ve imagined otherwise.
So yes, meditation.

The practice is simple but effective.
We’ll have an opening to chat, introduce ourselves, and get comfortable. We’ll work through a few different breathwork and mindfulness prompts to ground you in the moment.
At the end of our practice, we’ll take 5 minutes to write down any thoughts, feelings, emotions, or visualizations that came up during meditation.
Not looking to change them or judge them, but to bring awareness to what’s circulating inside of you - to learn more about yourself.
“We're all just walking each other home.”
